The Duties of an Associate Adviser are:
- Providing high quality support and technical assistance to the Principal Adviser.
- Working alongside the Principal Adviser in meetings, liaising between paraplanning and administration.
- Strategy Development: discussion with Adviser.
- Assist Principal Adviser in the preparation of Advice documents to assess and formulate appropriate strategies.
- Attend client meetings in collaboration with the adviser and contribute to the presentation and discussions.
- Research products, strategies and prepare product comparisons and ensure they meet client’s needs and objectives.
To be successful as an Associate Financial Planner you will need:
- Previous experience gained from the Wealth Management industry. You may be an Associate already looking for a new environment, or perhaps you have been working in a Client Service / Implementation / Financial Planners Assistant role and be ready for the next step.
- XPLAN experience preferred
- Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP) qualification preferred
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- The desire and ability to work in a team environment.
- Intermediate computer skills.

- Address client queries promptly, accurately, and courteously in a warm, professional, and personalised manner
- Prepare, process, and follow up on all client applications, redemptions, switches, review material, and other ad-hoc paperwork.
- Update and maintain detailed information on clients in XPLAN
- Complete ad-hoc administration duties as required
- Research, investigate and stay up to date with financial planning products, services, compliance requirements, financial market trends, and events.

Seeking a suitably experienced Paraplanner to be part of a Financial Planning team. Ideally, you will be currently working within the Financial Planning industry as Paraplanner demonstrating high values, integrity, and with high ethical behaviours.
The role will work alongside a financial planning team and assist broader accounting staff to provide a range of first-class financial planning services to our client base.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Financial Plans (Statement of Advice) and assist Financial Advisor in presentation thereof to prospective clients.
- Prepare and Present client portfolio reviews.
- Liaise with prospective and existing clients in conjunction with the Financial Advisor
- Keep abreast of legislative, technical and taxation changes.
- Maintain product knowledge.
- Work as a member of the Financial Planning team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively service an existing client base and provide high quality advice to clients in a legally compliant manner
- Conduct client interviews according to processes detailed in according to practice policies
- Ensure all client data is accurate and well maintained
- Develop appropriate strategies and advice according to the client’s current situation and future lifestyle goals and objectives
- Ensure all final documented advice is accurate prior to presentation to the client and/or prospective client
- Conduct the Plan Presentation and Client Review Appointments according to company processes
- Source new clients to grow client base and generating new business through various marketing activities including participating in promotional activities such as Seminars, Centre of Influence Presentations and public and media presentations, articles and interviews
- Maintain technical knowledge of products and trends in financial planning
- Undertake ongoing training to remain skilled in the use of Xplan
- Ensure your Training Plan objectives and requirements are met including Kaplan online training, PD days and Annual Conference attendance and other training as required
- Manage support staff and attend and participate in staff meetings
- Other duties, related to financial planning activities, as required
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Minimum of 3 years of Financial Planning experience
- Must have appropriate Financial Planning qualifications and successfully completed the FASEA exam
